We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager in Scotland.
You will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the Sales and Service cycle in respect to the counties you are allocated. Typically, this will be c.4 counties and approximately 50 self-employed advisors. You'll be responsible for recruiting, supporting, training, and developing a team of advisors to optimise sales and profit, whilst delivering excellent customer service throughout your territory.
You'll be building and managing your diary capacity in your geographical area, and ensuring each advisor has enough leads to run a profitable business, whilst meeting customer demand for appointments.You'll ensure your activities deliver a high return on investment, whilst helping advisors to achieve their earning objectives and work on key performance indicators. You'll support and run team meetings for advisors to support their development, and adhere to the business development cycle of contract, including regular phone contact, 1:1 meetings, and field visits.
You'll work with key stakeholders across the business, and work closely with the Account Management team to ensure customers in your area receive outstanding service. You'll be educating advisors, and ensuring that they understand the importance of working to Service best practice KPI's, and when failures in service take place, you'll be required to provide telephone or face to face contact to advisors and customers, taking full responsibility for service recovery.
You'll have vast sales and management experience, and be a self-starter with the ability to confidently drive sales and sales performance in the field.
